PearTree Systems is owned by Tim Fine.
He first worked in with AV equipment in 1969 with a part-time job in retail while at college, dealing with high quality hi-fi equipment. On completing his law degree, he joined the industry full-time and spent some years in retail and retail management. This was during the 70’s which saw the creation of a number of today’s leading brands, many of which he worked with from their inceptions.
He then spent some years with one of the leading loudspeaker manufacturers in sales, sales management and general management roles.
In 1984, Tim switched to the computer industry and over the course of the next few years, went from working for a full-service PC company to specializing in development of business software for small businesses.
PearTree Systems was started in 1994 and was originally a supplier of custom business software. In 2002, the focus switched to custom installation of audio visual and other low voltage systems for home-owners. We joined CEDIA and over the last three years the business has moved almost entirely into this area.
With over 35 years experience in the twin industries of audio visual and computing, we can provide a level of experience that very few others have.
Tim is qualified as a CEDIA installer, a CEDIA designer and an ISF video display calibrator.
